Nikki Haley to Suspend Presidential Campaign, Clearing Path for Trump

by Madeleine Hubbard

Nikki Haley is reportedly expected to suspend her Republican presidential campaign Wednesday following underwhelming results in Super Tuesday, clearing the way for former President Donald Trump to secure the nomination.

The former South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador will deliver remarks Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET in Charleston, according to CNN.

Her expected exit was reported by multiple news agencies.

Haley was the only major Republican candidate other than Trump to remain in the GOP primary until Wednesday.

Haley, who only won the primaries in Washington, D.C., and Vermont, gained less than 50 candidates on Super Tuesday while Trump received more than 700, per USA Today. This would have made her efforts to secure the nomination in future primary races difficult, albeit not mathematically impossible.

Without Haley in the race, Trump and President Joe Biden are on the path to a rematch following their 2020 race.

She represents the RINO faction of the uni-party. The fact that she got trounced in most all of the primaries shows that conservative Americans are letting it be know that they are sick of the BS and know what’s right for our country.
